I attended a meeting with the City Manager of Dublin today. It was organised to allow discussion between senior city council managers and Oireachtas members. It consisted of a number of presentations on transport plans, planning and a plan for the economic regeneration of the city.
It was a very good use of time. I was interested in seeing plans for the development of creative industries and the plans for managing the construction of Metro North and the new Luas lines.
I did not have a chance to bring up points myself but will be following up on the status of housing projects and recycling facilities in Dublin Central.
