‘The next train to Dunboyne will not be calling at Hansfield’

A large area of west Dublin is being denied access to the Dunboyne rail line because Noel Dempsey has failed to ensure access to the station, according to Fine Gael Dublin Transport Spokesman Senator Paschal Donohoe.

Senator Donohoe welcomed the long-awaited opening of the Dunboyne rail line, but said it was deeply ironic that Minister Dempsey’s maiden voyage on the service would pass the closed station at Hansfield.

Welcoming the official opening of the final upgrade of the M50 today (Wednesday), Fine Gael Seanad Spokesperson on Transport, Senator Paschal Donohoe, said that the completed works will be an asset to our road network but that it comes with a heafty price tag for the taxpayer.

Is it any one that people feel the need for politicians to follow up on specific matters for them? How can a system like that make sense?

Working in my office

Sitting in the office in Phibsborough. Heard something shouting ‘You can’t trust them, you just can’t trust them’. Suspected that shouter of same would be walking in the front door of my office to lecture me on my lack of probity and other failings. How right I was.

You just never know what the next minute brings in this job and who will walk in through the open door. Never.
