Even with the rain and a poor enough turnout Aviva still looks great.

Ray and I attended a meeting on the Underground Dart in the Sean O Casey centre last Thursday evening. This is the first meeting since we lodged our submission to An Bord Pleanala. The evening was organised by the Protect East Wall group.

At this meeting they discussed the next stages of the campaign. Ray and I committed to looking for written transcripts for the An Bord Pleanala Oral Hearings. We also will request the base line information on noise, sound and dust prior to the hearings.

The box office opens this Saturday. Excitement building.

Lots of coverage today of the launch of Phizzfest. The Irish Times cover the Lord Mayor dancing his way through Phibsborough available here. There was another very successful table quiz on Friday night – which my team won! My office will become the Phizzfest Box Office from next Monday.

The Evening Herald feature my raising with the cut backs to St Mary’s Hospital. If you combine this with the cut backs to the Sancta Maria Day Care Centre it shows a sustained loss of common sense and morality. Crazy stuff.
